Studio

Small on purpose.

Nordic Sidequest is a self-funded software studio. We build small, well-crafted products that solve everyday problems — for Swedish and Nordic users first, the world second.

Who builds

Niklas Eriksson.

Nordic Sidequest is new — started because I see the needs first. My name is Niklas Eriksson, and I build the studio's products. A lifetime in industry has taught me what users actually need, and what they can do without. That's where the products come from.

Three principles.

They shape how we write, build and talk about what we do.

  1. 01

    Say it plainly.

Use verbs. No buzzwords. If a seven-year-old would not get it, rewrite it.

  2. 02

    Be honest about the scale.

Nordic Sidequest is one person, sometimes two. The smallness is a strength, not something to hide.

  3. 03

    Understatement > overstatement.

The Nordic tone is dry. "Pretty good" is praise. "Revolutionary" is not us.
